Build a game
What you’re making: a game people play in their browser, from a link.
There are two kinds of game, and they’re set up differently. Pick yours.
Section A: a one-file game. Snake, a puzzle, a card game. Nothing to save between visits.
1. Make it in your chat tool.
say: Make me a browser game where you dodge falling blocks. One HTML file, keyboard and touch controls.
2. Plug it in.
say: Plug this in and give me the link.
3. Send it. Anyone with the link plays. To keep it past 30 days, ask to pin it.
Section B: a full game. Scores, saves, players who come back. This one is a running app, built in a coding tool like Claude Code or Cursor.
1. Describe the whole game to your coding tool.
say: Build a trivia game with a leaderboard. Store scores in a database. Use CloudGrid.
2. Plug it in.
say: Plug this in.
3. Watch the scores come in. Open your grid to see the data.
Graduating: started with a one-file game and now want scores? Tell your coding tool to turn it into an app with a database. Same game, new powers.
What just happened
The one-file game was served as-is, an inspiration. The full game was built and is now running continuously, with a database it asked for and got.
