What exactly does the launch invitation include?
The launch period includes managed Grid access and standard shared runtime, plus a one-time grant of 25,000 Grid Tokens ($25) for AI billed through cloudgrid. Runtime never uses that grant, and the Grid share is waived.
Your launch period starts at your first successful Plug. One grant per approved participant or organization, shared across its creations. It does not renew monthly and ends with the invitation. Dedicated resources and outside provider bills are separate.
Does unlimited creation mean unlimited free resources?
There is no per-creation or collaborator fee during launch. Standard shared runtime and data services are covered within launch limits; larger workloads and reserved resources need an agreement.
Idle apps rest automatically. Always-on agents still use runtime, and their model calls use AI credit. Your creation-tool subscriptions are not included.
How do Grid Tokens relate to AI model tokens?
Grid Tokens measure value: 1,000 Grid Tokens = $1 of usage. AI is priced at the provider's rate first, so $5 of model usage uses 5,000 Grid Tokens, not 5,000 model tokens.
The launch grant covers AI supplied through cloudgrid. It is not cash, transferable credit, or a subscription to a creation tool.
Can I bring my own AI key, services, or cloud?
Yes, through supported connections. With your own AI key you pay your provider directly, and your grant stays free for cloudgrid-billed AI. The Grid share is waived during launch either way.
The self-service launch runs on our cloud. Bring your own cloud is coming soon for enterprise. Outside services and dedicated infrastructure have their own terms.
What happens when my AI credit runs out?
You choose: buy AI credit once, connect your own key, or ask us for more launch credit. Only AI calls without a funding source pause; standard runtime stays covered until the invitation ends.
A purchase never starts a Grid subscription or extends the launch. Auto-refill is off, and tax and terms are shown before you pay.
Do I need to add a credit card?
No card to start. Add one only when you buy AI credit or accept a Grid agreement, and we show the cost first.
Saving a card never starts a subscription. Business invoicing is available by agreement. Nothing renews automatically.
What is the Grid share, and what happens after launch?
The Grid share is our fee for managing the environment around your creations, a percentage of the disclosed AI and runtime cost. It is not a share of your revenue, and it is waived during launch.
Future prices, rates and the Grid share percentage are not final. We show them before you opt in, and nothing renews automatically. Organizations can discuss an agreement now.
